TRAVELLING LEGITIMATELY

In application of the Regional Law No. 30 of 2/10/98, travellers caught without a valid ticket are subject to a fine of Euro 150.00 maximum, in addition to payment of the fare.
The fine is payable as follows:

• A minimum amount of € 40.00 within 5 days from the date the fine was imposed.
• A reduced amount of € 50.00 in accordance with Article 13 of the Regional Law 21/84 after the 5 days and within 60 days from the date the fine was imposed.
• A maximum amount of € 150.00 after the 61st day from the date the fine was imposed.

The ticket must be validated each time the traveller boards the vehicle (or at the station in the case of using the train service) also in the case of interchange.
